Terms of Use — Monero Wallet - XMR
Effective date: October 26, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Monero Wallet - XMR ("the app"), published by LA GURANS FOUNDATION ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies.
1. What the app is
The app is self-custody wallet software for the Monero (XMR) cryptocurrency. It creates and stores your keys on your own device. We never hold, control or have access to your funds, keys or recovery phrase. We do not provide exchange, swap, purchase, lending, custody or money transmission services.
2. Your responsibilities
- Your recovery phrase is the only backup. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe and private. Anyone with it can spend your funds. If you lose it, nobody, including us, can recover your wallet.
- Keep your device, PIN and Face ID secure.
- Check every address and amount before you send. Monero transactions are final and cannot be reversed or cancelled once broadcast.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to you where you live.
3. Third-party networks and services
The app connects to independently operated Monero nodes, to the Tor network if you enable it, and to the CoinGecko API for prices. We do not run or control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct. Prices shown are for information only.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Cryptocurrency carries risk, including price volatility, network delays and software bugs.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of funds, lost or stolen recovery phrases, mistaken transactions, network or node failures, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt or misuse it except as permitted by law or by the licenses of its open-source components.
7. Trademarks
Monero and the Monero logo are used to describe the cryptocurrency the app supports. Monero Wallet - XMR is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Monero Project.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will always be available on this page, with its effective date.
